A twelve month buildout is a long working relationship, so you should know who's on the other side of it. Build It Once is run by its founder, Mark Frentz, and the coaching isn't delegated to hired facilitators: the person described below is the person in the room.
The founder
From therapy rooms to The Metro
Mark Frentz spent his early career as a mental health and addictions therapist (he holds a master's degree in psychology) before becoming a real estate investor and operator. He owns and operates The Metro, the mixed-use building on Albert Street that Build It Once lives inside.
Before Regina settled him, he lived in Sweden for two years and China for eight, which is where he learned he could handle most things (a useful trait in a coach whose job includes hearing bad numbers without flinching).
The therapy background isn't a biographical footnote either. It's most of why the coaching runs the way it does: listening before advising, patterns over pep talks, and a quarterly review that deals in your real numbers instead of your mood that week.
The reason
Why Build It Once exists
Regina is full of solo operators who are excellent at the work and carrying a business that undersells it: referral-only, invisible online, books behind. Mark built it because the fix isn't a course; it's a year of building the system properly, together.
The design follows from that: twelve months, ten pieces, one price, and a hard stop. No auto-renew, no dependency business model, nothing that quietly keeps billing after the work is done. Build the system, hand it over, let the owner run it. The full structure is on the how it works page.
The building
The Metro
The Metro is a mixed-use building at Unit B 1827 Albert Street that Mark owns and operates, and it's where Build It Once runs from opening day (August 17, 2026). Running the building himself means the day-to-day of membership isn't outsourced either.
The philosophy
Four lines that explain most decisions
Own the system, don't rent it: everything built during the twelve months leaves with you. Numbers over narratives: your scoreboard, reviewed quarterly, decides what's working. Selling is a skill, not a service we perform for you. And small on purpose: one admission at a time, and a peer group meant to stay small.
